Based in the Netherlands, Jan Garritsen is a composer and producer whose music can be heard in films, commercials, theater projects, live events, and TV series. A classically trained pianist, he also plays percussion, drums, and guitar, and his writing ability spans many genres, including Classical, Electronic, Dance, Dramatic, Children's, and more. Realizing his passion for film music, Jan went to the Artez Conservatory in the Netherlands, and in 2012 he graduated and received his Bachelor of Music degree.
Jan Garritsen's mentors include Prof. Tom Holkenborg (LA film composer known as Junkie XL who works with Hans Zimmer), Tom Salisbury (arranger for John Williams), and Audiosparx best-selling artist Erwin Steijlen.
