Soroca & Allocca (Karen Soroca and Janet Marie) are an accomplished California-based writing team that specializes in mainstream Pop/Rock and other genres like RnB, Hawaiian, Jazz, Hip Hop, and Dance. They have won numerous ASCAP Plus Awards, Billboard Song Contest Awards, and have also been nominated for an LA Music Award. Soroca recently sang back-up for Bob Weir of the Grateful Dead, and she has singing credits in major films like "The Addams Family" and "Scrooged." Marie is a former ABC-TV executive with experience in TV production and music publishing and writing.
Soroca & Allocca are classically trained musicians and dancers holding Masters Degrees from prestigious East Coast institutions, and they are also members of SAG-AFTRA and Women in Film.
