With a unique melodic style all his own, Winthrop Brookhouse composes instrumental works in Latin, Latin Jazz, Jazz, Electronica, Dramatic, and New Age genres. In 2015, his piece "Openbook" was used during the Brazilian World Soccer games. A US prolific composer, Winthrop is always trying to expand his musical vocabulary. 2016 finds Winthrop concentrating on world fusion and Asian instrumentation. In the area of Jazz and Latin Jazz he is expanding on his styles and orchestrations and more aiming at the trio, quartet to sextet arrangements.
