Based in South Dakota, Winthrop Brookhouse is a talented composer who writes in the Jazz, Latin, World, Electronica, Dramatic, and New Age genres. He studied with Brazilian composer Moacir Santos, who gave him a strong background in Latin music, and with Pete Robinson at Dick Groves Studio in Hollywood. Using thematic and melodic sounds with a focus on orchestrating a wide variety of instrumentation, he composes a broad range of styles.
