Coldwave, also written as Cold Wave, is the French variant of Dark Wave, gothic rock and post-punk music, primarily spread in France, South Belgium and Romandy. Inspired by post-punk and goth groups, such as Siouxsie & The Banshees and Joy Division and specifically Martin Hannett's production for the group, prominent in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Early French punk rock groups, forerunners to the scene, included Stinky Toys, Métal Urbain, The Cure and The Opposition.
An instrumental hybrid of Electronic Rock with some hip hop elements. Dark, mysterious with a hypnotic keyboards. Great for horror mystery scenes with a modern touch, Instrumental, Electronic, Coldwave
An energetic and powerful electronic track with some sort of signaling effect with a repeating motif of an organ-like sound, contrasted by an breathy, fluty like synth coming in at 0:18, a cool and dry bass line, drums and FX. Sort of synth-guitar solo at 0:57. Edgy and loud. Instrumental, Electronic, Coldwave
Robotic and futuristic with industrial groove that shakes. Similar to 9 Inch Nails. Edgy and cold for the 20 to 30 something club scene. Great for broadcast, web, radio, TV. Instrumental, Electronic, Coldwave
Abrasive industrial music with random music weaving in and out with lyrics about life, death, zombies, bleeding, twisting. Lyrically it refers to Schrodinger’s cat as it comes to understand its demise, but instead of dying, becomes zombie-fied. Male Vocals, Horror, Horror Chase
This song is a Darkwave / dark electronic synthpop song with crooning low vocals and a good chorus hook. The lyrics are vaguely about maturing and growth or could be considered completely nonsensical. It's more about the vibe of the song and not so much the meaning. Male Vocals, Electronic, Coldwave
