Carnival is a festive season that begins immediately before Lent, generally during February. Carnival typically involves a public celebration or parade combining some elements of a circus, masks, costumes, and public street parties. While Samba reigns supremely, Carnival music is generally intense, rhythmic, with lots of African-Brazilian percussion (also called Batucada), steel drums, and often the distinctive Cuica drum. Parades are punctuated by elaborate costumes and masks, and the Rio de Janeiro Carnaval is the best-known celebration in the World, often replicated worldwide with days-long events, parties and drinking.
Maulana Karenga created Kwanzaa in 1966 as the first specifically African-American holiday. This as spread to the Caribbean and so I have composed a short peace that celebrates this holiday using the style of the Afro Americans outside USA, Instrumental, Themes, Kwanzaa
