Singer, Songwriter, and Multi-instrumentalist Matthias Wichtrup presents his diverse and highly creative catalog of works here at Audiosparx. He studied music at the Wilhelms University in Muenster, Germany, and gained other qualifications for popular music while studying there. Matthias has released four CDs as a singer and songwriter (My Face Is Not My Face, My Loneliness, Mr. M, and Behind the Horizon), and various CDs for meditation, relaxation, music therapy, and Tai Chi.
Matthias Wichtrup is influenced by many musicians from different genres, especially Progressive Rock and Folk. You will find Classical elements as well as Rock and Blues in his music, with some pieces featuring very complex compositions and a variety of different atmospheres, spaces, and colors. Other songs are ballads performed solo on a piano or acoustic guitar, and others are straight Rock tunes with driving guitar riffs or Symphonic-Rock elements.
