Most of Michael's music features a guitar synthesizer to achieve the string sections, brass and sounds of a keyboard synthesizer. Demonstrating exceptional talent, Michael composes and performs in broad musical styles ranging from Django Reinhardt to Rap/Hip-Hop. His mastery of the guitar, his thoughtful development of melody and his wry humour shine in these tracks, and would be perfect for almost every type of media dramatization. Included in this collection are a number of pieces composed specifically for 30 seconds for advertising themes.
Michael's enticing music is well-suited to TV, corporate, and advertising purposes, as well as simply pleasant and interesting listening. His work includes tender and emotive anthems, some strong and driving instrumentation, and quirky and comic songs in various styles. Michael's work is built around Jazz, but includes many sideroads into Rock, Pop, Classical, and Rap/Hip Hop formats.

A great original composition sounding like The Byrds, Crosby Stills Nash & Young, and all of the culture of the 60's. Social conscience, the crossover of folk music into rock, Woodstock and the fabulous mood of the times. A superb piece that could have been recorded in 1967. Male Vocals, Sound-Alikes Music, The Byrds Soundalikes

Taking the UKULELE to extremes, here for your humorous enjoyment is a 1970's style "boogie" performed with harmonised ukuleles. The lyrics create an entire "culture" of UKA-GLITTER and UKA-BOOGIE SHOES and a UKE-A-BOOGIE CAR. The screaming solo (well almost) is Uke with distort. A fun song. Male Vocals, Rock Music, 1970s Rock

A most colorful 1930s or 1940s visual "art" song, vintage male vocal with UKULELE. It begs for an animator to transcribe every picturesque line to film. A romantic walk in silhouette. Old-fashioned romcom, sweet & innocent. In advertising, try Real Estate, holidays, fun parks, romantic getaways. Male Vocals, Jazz Music, Novelty Jazz
This colourful romantic UKULELE BOSSA-NOVA has overtones of Jobim in its harmonic construction and rhythm. Lightly humorous lyrics describing a "love boat" situation. Balmy nights, warm breezes and tender hearts. The ukulele performance is excellent with a great solo and harmonised counterpoint. Instrumental, Jazz Music, Novelty Jazz
A CHARLESTON! With ukulele and harmonised vocal. A gorgeous, silhouette style of setting for a man proposing to a beautiful girl, with charming cottage and flowers. Very 1920's. A UKULELE BASED "ANTHEM TO SLEEP" - to bedding, beds, pillows, dreams, astral travel. Also a tune for the end of a night, party close, cleaning up, going home and finally getting into bed. Male Vocals, Comedy Music, Comedy Jazz
A vaudevillian style of comic romance written as a UKULELE theme. Could have been anywhere from 1920's to today. Instrumentally, it's a touch country; very bright and cheerful; a little zany and great for advertising socks or car insurance! Male Vocals, Comedy Music, Comedy Jazz

A brand new song, straight out of 1967! An outstandingly authentic composition and performance from Michael Warner written in the style of The Byrds or Crosby Stills Nash and Young. Great lyrics with resemblance to Bob Dylan and other great writers of the Woodstock era. Male Vocals, Sound-Alikes Music, The Byrds Soundalikes
A tribute to a living legend. "Chips" drove concrete trucks for 50 years and a million miles. As a lover of Australian country music, this song had to be a classic to please the man himself. Legend Number Six was the name of his truck. An Australian reminder of "six days on the road". Great! Male Vocals, Country Music, Classic Country
